15 weeks and Big U/S Scheduled

I had my monthly OB appointment and everything looks good. The babies' heartbeats were at 150 and 158 and they sounded beautiful! Im up 3 pounds, which I am happy with.

I really think Im in my last couple of weeks of regular pants and will need to get some maternity pants soon. I just hate shopping for pants. I have a long inseam and nothing seems to fit me correctly. Hopefully I can find something that works.

Here is my belly pic:

In other exciting baby news, we scheduled our BIG Ultrasound for August 4th. In preparation, I have added a new "clicky feature" to the right of my blog. If you'd like, you can click on it, and make your sex (and arrival date/weights) predictions. Make sure to select sexes for both Baby A and Baby B. Just so you know, I already voted and selected two boys. I have had the boy feeling all along so I went with it!

I actually have several 101 updates (my poor list has been a bit neglected but I am still working on it) but I will save those for an entry later in the week.

Hope everyone is having an awesome week!

I put in my guesses, but how do you know which baby is Baby A or B? What if I'm right on, but had them backwards? I have one of these guessing things too. You should do one for my pregnancy. You'd only have to wait 7 weeks to find out if you're right or not too!

By the way, I can't believe you're so far along now. It's going by so quickly. But I'm glad that everything's progressing well. Can't wait to hear about your big ultrasound!

Hmm, I dont know how we will tell between Baby A and Baby B for the quiz. My OB has ID'd each of the babies based on their weight although they were initially identified by their position in the uterus. The thing is, their position can change so Baby A, which is lowest and would technically be born first vaginally can switch with Baby B. I guess we could go by Baby A is born first regardless of position and Baby B is born second. Man, twins are messing with this quiz :)

Oh and I voted on yours, too!

Yay! Less than a month until your U/S!! Just an fyi, I also have a long inseam and long torso--I'm 5'9 as well and I found really great jeans at Motherhood Maternity..they have the really stretchy full panel and were nice & long! Other than that, I stayed in skirts as much as possible--using a rubber band or two to hold them on! haha

Yea for finding out what the babies are soon!! Aug 4th is going to be here before you know it. Sounds like things are going great for you. Are you still feeling okay or any trouble with nausea, gas, bloating, and all that pregnancy stuff. The belly is starting to poke out a little. I am going to go vote now.

Ooh, I can totally see a bump now! It's such a cute bump! I hope you have good luck with maternity clothes shopping. My favorite was Gap and if I remember correctly, you can get the Long length in maternity pants there. I owe you an e-mail, too!

You look wonderful! And if you're looking for pants - maybe try GAP? I wore them pre-pg and love them for maternity (although I need their ankle length). I'd imagine they have things available in tall also. Good luck!

i think it's two boys too!

i have a 33" inseam and i was able to find maternity pants long enough at motherhood maternity. also, Old Navy carries their jeans in long lengths, although they are very hard to find. but MM had the best choices by far!

You look so good for 15 weeks. i need to show you pics of my cousin who had twins in Jan. She was seriously the biggest pregnant woman ever( besides for Kate and anyone else with 6+ babies). I will agree that motherhood maternity has the most comfy pants with that stretchy material panel. i wore them for a long time after i delivered because they were so comfortable. i actually thought about wearing them to Thanksgiving last year. Ha! i can't wait till Aug. 4th. I'm thinking a boy and girl. who knows?

Yay for a great appointment!!! Try Gap Long and Lean - they were my favorite maternity jeans until I started wearing my capris for the summer. I got mine off ebay for really cheap.

I'm so excited for you, Shan!

Try the maternity pants from ON. They come in long, regular, and short!

Just look at your cute tummy and how it has popped. Although from the photo I can't believe you're not in materinty pants already {and I mean that in the best of ways}. I'll have to think about my picks for baby a/b. Thank you for all the prayers these past few days!

Ah, you tall chicks with your long legs. Try being short and round BEFORE you get knocked up. Trying to find maternity clothes was a complete waste of time until I dropped 20lbs in my first and second trimesters.

I'm just so excited for you-- was sharing your story with my husband just the other day.

You're looking great! I know you're looking forward to that big u/s and August 4 is very soon. I'm tall with long legs and had some luck at Motherhood, though I had to try several different styles to find ones that were long enough. I'm glad I have a mom who sews, because the ones she made me have been the best! Good luck! I always vote for girls, but with twins, I might have to pick one of each...hmmm....

I'm guessing boys too since Mom's intuition is almost always right. I also love to see that your belly grew a little more! That's great! Can't wait to see what you are having!

oh yea, and my advice for trying on the pants, each different color, design, fit, whatever, try them on. You may fit into a medium in one style and then fit into a small with another and large with a third style. Walmart has some nice things too, just watch the dryer time.

Hey sweets, I have a 36 inch inseam and found great jeans at Old Navy and Gap. Also, with a Bella Band, I was able to wear my normal pants right up until Jack was born (I wore some jeans to the hospital)!
