Olivia Claire

My sister was induced on Tuesday night because she developed pre-eclampsia and the next day, the most beautiful niece in the world was born.  She is precious and I already am in love with her.   I don't have many pictures but I wanted to share the few that I do have.

Olivia Claire  8/29/12
Her birth is one of the happiest days of my life

1. When I try to leave the room at bedtime, she yells "I have to tell you something..." and since I am curious on what she will say, I always come back a couple times.  Listening to her tell me a story is worth it.

1. His love of trucks has gone to a new level.  He now pretends to be a truck.  The other day, he put his one arm out and kept saying "I am going to excavator that pile of toys."

1. Their newest phrase is "Oh that one is my favorite!" and they will say it about the most random things.   "This blue cup that I never use is my favorite, mom"

Home Days

We went to our city's Home Days yesterday and Emma and Josh had a blast. They loved the parade and got a bunch of candy...and ate a bunch of it, too! Their favorites were Tootsie Rolls.

Hope everyone is enjoying their week. Lately, our weeks are "half and half." They are half tantrum filled scream fests and the other half is fun loving, giggling toddlers. You take the good, you take the bad...right?!

1. She will argue with you over just about anything.   "Emma, do you want pizza?"  "I don't like no pizza!"  Okay then...

2.  When I was changing her diaper, she told me that "poopy stinks, pee is wet and toots are loud."   I seriously died when she told me it.

1. We got him the "Truck Tunes" DVD from the library again and he is so happy.  He begs to watch it morning, noon and night.  His favorite trucks are the Excavator and the Feller Buncher.

2.  When I give him food, he is always so appreciative.  (Not that he eats it, but he really appreciate it.) He says "oh thank you, Mom" or "this looks yummy, mom!"

1. They have been putting balloons under their shirt and running around...and saying they look like Kiki (my sister)
